Short Contracts

We meet people all the time who want to work with us and can't because they are "trapped" in a long contract elsewhere. Usually 6 months to a year. Our listing contracts are 3 months in length. The shortest you will find.

A Relationship

We are not a large corporate real estate firm. We are small on purpose and want a relationship with those we work with. We value the "people" side of this business and hope you will stop by the office from time to time to say hello. If you like being cared about, we might work for you!


Charter House was formed by Mark Charter after 10 years in the business. In that time, Mark became one of the best selling and most highly recommended agents in central Iowa. Mark personally handpicked his buyer's agents to join the firm because they were the right type of people.
